Mike Buhrmann, chairman and CEO of Finsphere, is a recognized entrepreneur and business leader in the wireless industry, with more than 28 years of experience building highly successful companies. Prior to Finsphere, he was founder, president, and CEO of @mobile, which, through acquisition by software.com and merger with phone.com, became Openwave Systems Inc.

Mike was formerly chairman of the board at m-Qube, which was acquired by VeriSign Inc. He was also an advisor to UIEvolution, acquired by Square Enix USA. He has held executive positions with both McCaw Cellular and AT&T Wireless and holds more than a dozen patents for wireless telecommunications technology.

Mike was a pioneer in creating the Wireless Intelligent Network (WIN), founded and chaired the Universal Wireless Communications Consortium (UWCC), and sat on the board of directors and the executive committee of the Cellular Telecommunications and Internet Association (CTIA).
